![]() If you execute a enemy on the first shot of a dual strike, the squad mate does not take a second shot, but the use is consumed. Templars can't Exchange (swap places) with a person carrying a unit.So if you give them ammo, you can't check what they're carrying ( source) Templars primary weapon are their gauntlets, which are what show in the weapon preview in the bottom right. So you can end up with 2 of a hero even if it isn't your starting faction. If you wait until the end of the month to do it, it will still be in process when the new month hits and you get a new slate of covert ops, but since you still don't have a faction hero, it will give you another Covert Op to get one. they died), it will provide you a covert op to get one. If the game sees you don't have a faction hero (i.e.Soul harvest counts when a civilian is killed, too (I promise this was accidental) (Fathom-AI).Stasis renders a unit immune to all types of effects/damage, which means it ends mind control-for both Advent and you (even a Dominated unit). After moving, they will still fire on an enemy that enters the Kill Zone, if the unit can still see the Kill Zone. If you have a unit with Kill Zone & Implacable, they will get an Implacable move if they successfully kill some thing using their Kill Zone.Advent soldiers given to you from Double Agent get a good angle bonus.(The faction mission with the two escorts is also grindable but harder because of Advent.) While you only rank up once following a serious grind, those soldiers will keep their kill count and will automatically rank up on the next mission they go out on and the next and the next. The faction mission with the turret is another. The Lost Towers is one, with the endless weak robots. Grinding is a super viable strategy on a handful of missions. The additional units you get, whether an x-com soldier or a Advent soldier, can pick up and evac a downed comrade or VIP.If a Sharpshooter gets Chain-Shot, it only works for non-Squadsight targets.Shooting a priest who goes into stasis will end Reaper/Serial, as it doesn't count as a kill.Killing a Siege Emplacement on a Chosen ambush mission does not trigger Serial (I think it counts as a building).A character with low will that goes on a mission is in danger of picking up a negative trait. There are other ways for them to lose will, though. Both the Lost and Advent count separately, though, so a unit can lose up to 66% of the will it started the mission with. The amount of will a soldier can lose from the Lost/Advent on a single mission is capped at 33% (VP-total or starting will).I'd also love to have a video backing up all the points here, so shoot a link over and I'll include it. I'm happy to take suggestions and make corrections. I've been putting off posting this, to try to make it pretty, but I'm tired of sitting on it, so I'll update it as it goes. I've tried to avoid anything too widely know (like "when you're in cover, you're harder to hit"). These facts are for the most part verified by myself in gameplay. (I put all the generic stuff in my XCOM 2 Vanilla post) (on a computer behavior may vary on other platforms | updated 2/18)
